The Evopower UKC55ECO 3-phase diesel generator produces 55 kVA (44 kW) when used in a standby power application or 50 kVA (40 kW) when used in a prime power application. Standby (ESP) and Prime Power (PPR) ratings are defined within ISO8528. The high quality LK224D brushless alternator is self-excited and includes an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) to maintain the output voltage and prevent voltage drop due to a sudden increase in load. The generator is equipped with 3x 16 Amp 230V sockets and a 3-phase, 63 Amp socket, along with the ability to connect direct to the busbar, all protected by variable, CHiNT RCD’s.

The heavy duty weatherproof close fit canopy enclosure on the 55kVA diesel generator is rust proof, powder coated and fitted with quality sound attenuation to reduce the noise level to only 70 dB at a 7 metre distance. Stainless steel fittings are used for all door hinges and locks.

Designed in the UK, the ECO series of diesel generators from 55kVA to 550kVA, are much more than an engine and alternator. Evopower only use high quality components in their gensets such as CHiNT 4 pole MCCB breakers, Varta batteries, industrial grade silencers, Cummins engines and DSE (Deep Sea Electronics) control panels along with a custom alternator refined over years of experience building diesel gensets.

The UKC55ECO model has an integral base mounted fuel tank which holds 102 litres of diesel to power the diesel generator set for up to 14.5hours at 50% load. We offer a long run version of this model which has a 24 hour integral base mounted tank. This standard version will use 12.9L/hour of diesel while on full load (prime rating), down to 7L/hour on half load (prime rating). The easy to access external fuel filler cap is lockable for security and there is a fuel gauge mounted internally which is easy to see and read.

The base mounted diesel tank is integrated within the heavy duty skid, complete with fork holes for easy unloading/moving and hook eyes to help keep the machine stable while transporting or lifting into position.
All generators in the ECO range are powered by Cummins and are fitted with battery charger and coolant heater as standard.
